Yes, you can arrive earlier and stay at the property getting in tune for the ceremony. We have a small cafeteria area where you can enjoy some tea and read good books or meditate in the gardens before your journey.

Yes, during the ceremony participants are asked to stay in silence no there is no need to talk. The talking part will be the instructions before the ceremony and these will be given in English and Spanish. If you talk any other language please let us know with some anticipation so we can get prepared.

Yes, many of the ones taking part in group ceremonies are coming for the first time. It is normal to feel nervous but we are well prepared to provide you with the best setting for you to have a good and safe experience.

Only the ones staying during the ceremony in the temple are the ones actively participating. You will be well taken care of by our facilitators and staff. Your companion can stay in one of the accommodations on site and wait for you after the ceremony.

Yes, most people stay in the ceremony place -where we have mats and blankets- after we close the ceremony around midnight. You can also book a place to stay on site (at la Pacha). There are different options since we live in a community and there are different owners. Please refer to the tab RENTALS & LOCATIONS in the site

The ceremonies are guided by trustful facilitators with years of experience taking and serving ayahuasca. You can find information about each of our facilitators in the ABOUT US tab

Ceremonies are not closed until couple of days before the ceremony day. On a regular Friday ceremony we have between 10-20 participants but the final number is uncertain until we close the day.

This depends on the number of participants. It usually varies between 4-6 people supporting

You can either arrange a taxi to pick you up after the ceremony or wait until next morning to take the public transportation back to town. We can help you arrange a taxi but please remind us once you get to the ceremony (not days before, but just once you arrive here

Please do not. You can hire a sitter to stay with your kid while you are in ceremony, but your kid cannot be in the ceremonial area and will be a distraction of your process.

Yes, we have a room where you can leave your belongings

Some kinds of medication are not a problem, however others, like antidepressant medication, can be a problem. So just tell us about your medication and we will assist you.

In preparation for this profound experience, we have to prepare both physically and psychologically. We strongly recommend that the participants considerably reduce the eating of meat (especially pork), salt, sugar, and chili, in order to prepare to receive the Ayahuasca. And please remember to abstain from drinking alcohol and other substances which may cloud your consciousness. During the Ayahuasca retreat a complete sexual abstinence is mandatory, with the purpose of keeping available our vital energy for the experience. As a psychological preparation, we recommend doing some type of contemplative practices such as meditation or yoga, to bring us moments of reflection about our upcoming transcendental experience.
