A Community Built Through Experience
Sacred Valley Tribe is a community rooted in over 25 years of continuous work with plant medicine in the Sacred Valley of Peru.

Our Story
The story began in 2000 with Diego Palma and Milagros, whose personal search led them into a lifelong commitment to healing, self-inquiry, and community. After years of learning alongside traditional healers and therapeutic centers in the Amazon, Diego brought that experience to the Sacred Valley, becoming one of the early pioneers of ayahuasca work in the region.
Together, Diego and Milagros created a space where ceremonies could be held with continuity, responsibility, and care. What started as a small circle gradually grew into a living community rooted in shared experience and long-term commitment to the work.

As the path evolved, dedicated spaces such as Melissa Wasi and later La Pacha were created specifically to support ceremony, integration, and community life. Over the years, the work expanded beyond ayahuasca to include complementary practices such as Huachuma, Kambo, Rapé, breathwork, sound healing, yoga, and integration support.
In 2016, Diego was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He continued sharing his work, music, and teachings until his passing in October 2019, surrounded by family and community. His vision, writings, medicine songs, and commitment to truth continue to shape the foundations of Sacred Valley Tribe today.
His legacy lives on through the spaces he helped create, the community that continues to grow, and the thousands of people who have passed through this work over the last two decades.
Today, Sacred Valley Tribe remains a place where people come to reconnect with themselves, explore their inner world, and engage in a process that extends far beyond a single ceremony.
